UPDATED INFORMATION

State Police have charged Cody J. Stone, 22, from Parish, with Criminal Mischief 4thdegree, a class “A” misdemeanor; Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, a violation; and several other vehicle and traffic violations.

Stone turned himself into patrol early Oct. 30 at the State Police barracks in Hastings.

Stone was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Parish Town Court Nov. 14, 2017, at 5 p.m.


 

   

State Police in Hastings are investigating a criminal mischief that occurred shortly after midnight on Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery located at 285 State Route 69a in the Town of Parish, Oswego County.

The investigation has revealed that a vehicle believed to possibly be a 2002 dodge ram pickup truck struck multiple head stones in the Pleasant Lawn Cemetery and left the scene before police arrived. It is believed the suspect vehicle may have sustained heavy front end damage and was reported to be tan or gray in color.
