The Cazenovia Public Library will present two free screenings of Tulip Fever (2017) Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Community Room. The historical drama film is adapted from a novel by Deborah Moggach.

Set in 17th century Amsterdam, Tulip Fever tells the story of an artist who falls for a young married woman while he is commissioned to paint her portrait. To escape the grasp of the woman’s rich and powerful merchant husband, the lovers enter the tulip bulb market to make their fortune and buy their freedom. The film is rated R and runs 105 minutes. Free popcorn provided.
