State Police have charged Richard F. Curtis, age 18, from Baldwinsville, NY with Criminal Sexual Act 1st degree, a class “B” felony.
Curtis is accused of having sexual contact with a child less than 11 years old in 2016. He was arraigned in the town of Lysander Court and was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
This arrest is a result of a joint investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, consisting of The New York State Police, US Marshalls Service and the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Division. On November 16, 2017, Richard Curtis was charged with (3) counts of Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class “E” felony and (1) count of Promoting the Sexual Performance of a Child, a class “D” felony.
