Assemblyman Bill Magee issued the following statement on REDCs:
“The designation of the Central NY and Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Councils as ‘Top Performers’ means that our region will receive millions in targeted investments, helping to create more good-paying jobs across our region.
“From supporting the expansion of Cazenovia manufacturer Marquardt Switches to turning the former Stevens Hardware building into apartments and commercial space in Oneonta, many exciting things are happening in our region. These awards recognize the great progress our region has made creating jobs and making our region a destination for tourists from across our country.
“I look forward to working with business, farm and local government leaders across Madison, Otsego and Oneida counties to continue growing our local economy.”
