CTE Students To Compete in Regional Contest

More than 40 Career and Technical Education students from MOBOCES will travel to Morrisville State
College on February 2 to compete in the regional competition of SkillsUSA.

SkillsUSA is an education-industry partnership that engages students in technical skills competitions and fosters leadership development. More than 60 different contests will challenge students to put their career-focused skills training into practice. More than 900 students from 18 technical high schools and BOCES are expected to attend the regional competition.

Top finishers at regionals have the opportunity to compete at the New York State SkillsUSA Championship in April at the NYS Fairgrounds. From there, winners can compete at nationals in June.
