Gratien receives Madison County Retired Teachers grant

The Madison County Retired Teachers Association awarded a grant to Mr Edward Gratien of Otto-Shortell Middle School, Oneida City School District. Gratien’s application stated a request for a 3-D computer to be used in the middle school technology class. 3D printing will allow students to create a physical model from a sketch.
Students will apply math concepts such as understanding 3D views, plans, elevations and probability in their creation.
