Juvenile charged for making threats on Madison Central School

On Feb. 27, 2018, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Investigators arrested a Madison Central School District Student and charged that juvenile with making a terroristic threat (class D felony).

Students at the school reported the threats to school officials and law enforcement. Madison Central School went into lockout and deputies from Madison County along with state troopers responded to secure the school from any imminent threats.

The juvenile was subsequently located by investigators and charged.

Madison County Sheriff’s K-9 and NYSP K-9 handlers combed the school to assure no further threats existed.

No students were injured.
