Movies Scheduled for March at the Canastota Public Library
Every Tuesday evening, beginning at 5pm, the Canastota Public Library shows a recently released movie. The movies are shown on the second floor of the Library in the Carnegie Room. All movies are shown free. In March, the following movies are scheduled:
“The Big Sick” will be shown on Tuesday, March 6. This movie, rated R, stars Holly Hunter, Zoe Kuzan and Kumail Nanjiani. This romantic comedy follows an inter-racial couple dealing with cultural differences.
On March 13, “Paris Can Wait” will be shown. Diane Lane stars as the wife of a successful yet overly busy producer. The movie also stars Arnaud Viard and Alec Baldwin. It is rated PG-13.
“Beatriz at Dinner” follows a holistic medicine practitioner as she attends the dinner party of a client. Starring in this comedy-drama are Selma Hayek, John Lithgow and Connie Britton. The movie is rated R.
On March 27, the library will show the movie, “King Arthur, Legend of the Sword.” This epic fantasy film is inspired by Arthurian Legends and stars Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Jude Law.
The Canastota Public Library is located at 102 W. Center Street in Canastota.
The library has been providing services to the local community since 1896.
