Morrisville man faces drug charges
On Feb. 26, 2018, Madison County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested and charged Vance Harley Tallman, 24, of Cedar Street, Morrisville, with:
- Two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class B felonies);
- five counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class D felonies);
- five counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (class A misdemeanors);
- one count of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia (class A misdemeanor);
- one count of unlawful possession of marijuana (a violation);
- one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon; and
- one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
It is alleged that Tallman possessed two large bags of heroin, 24 morphine pills, several bags containing methamphetamine, several vials containing concentrated cannabis, cocaine, marijuana, a gravity knife and drug packaging paraphernalia.
It is also alleged that Tallman possessed narcotics and controlled substances with the intent to sell them in a residence occupied by a child.
Tallman was arraigned in Morrisville Village Court and remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bail bond. Tallman is scheduled to return to court at a later date to answer the charges.
