We have to help small businesses prosper

Bipartisan legislation before Congress would increase the availability of loans for small manufacturers. I joined Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand at Advanced Tool in Marcy to show support for the Investing in America’s Small Manufacturer’s Act.
More than half New York’s manufacturing workforce are employed in small manufacturers like Advanced Tool. This legislation seeks to cut loan fees and increase the loan guarantee rate for small manufacturers, among other things.
Manufacturers and small businesses are the heart of our economy, and we have to do more to ensure that these firms, and the workers they employ can succeed.
