Silver Plates: A free meal replacement option for seniors living in our community

Do you have difficulty preparing meals? Are you tired of cooking? Do you live alone? Are you a caregiver and worried about your loved one’s poor nutrition? The Resource Center for Independent Living invites local seniors and caregivers to join us for “Silver Plates.” Silver Plates is a free meal replacement option for seniors living in our community. Come sample a hot meal and, if you like it, take dinner home.

This is a free event/meal offered from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Dorothy Smith Center for Advocacy at RCIL (1607 Genesee St., Utica). RSVP by Tuesday, April 3, by calling 315-797- 4642 ext. 2553. There will be a limit of two meals per household, and this event will be first-come, first-served to the first 25 who register.

This event is brought to you by Caregiver Connections at RCIL; working to improve the lives of seniors and caregivers in our community.
