Caz Class of ’78 reunion June 29 through July 1
The Cazenovia High School class of 1978 will hold its 40th reunion from June 29 through July 1, 2018, including a class dinner/dance on Saturday, June 30 at the Hampton Inn & Suites on Route 20, Cazenovia.
Organizers want to know who will be attending so we can finalize costs and plans. RSVP to Kevin Ridlon at Kevin_ridlon@hotmail.com (or mail your response to 3699 Rippleton Road, Cazenovia, N.Y., 13035) with your preliminary intentions to join us for the weekend (we will finalize numbers later).
The graduating class originally numbered 177 students, but we are inviting others who were with us at various times during high school. We are desperately trying to find everyone, which is where our classmates come in. If you know emails and/or mailing addresses for members of the class, please send it to Kevin at the above email.
The reunion planning committee is looking to schedule other weekend events such as gatherings around the village, a tour of the high school, a picnic, and a community service project. If you are interested in spearheading any of these activities, please contact Amy Scarbrough at arscarbrough@msn.com.
We are also compiling a book that will be a collection of 750-word entries about classmates’ favorite memories that will be published for distribution on or after the weekend. Proceeds from sale of the book may go to a class gift for the school district. Classmates can send an email (SUBJECT LINE: Caz Book), attaching up to 750 words in a WORD file along with a digital photo, to Brian McDowell at bmcdowel@twcny.rr.com.
