Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide PreventionTalk Saves Lives is a one hour, community-based presentation, for anyone over the age of 18, that covers the general scope of suicide, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide.
Twenty-one people met Monday, April 30, at the Gorman Foundation Community Room to learn how to be trainers for Talk Saves Lives. Debra Graham, Area Director for the A.F.S.P., reviewed presentation skills, why this program is so important, and the content of the program slide by slide. This train the trainer was brought to the group by the Madison County Suicide Prevention Coalition.
