Driver charged with DWI following two-car crash in Westmoreland

State Police are investigating a two-car crash that occurred Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at approximately 10:05 p.m. on Cooper Street in the town of Westmoreland.

Investigation revealed a 2011 Toyota Highlander, operated by Laura K. Keating, age 32, from Whitesboro, was traveling westbound on Cooper Street in the town of Westmoreland when she crossed over the centerline and struck a 2017 Nissan Altima, operated by Jennifer L. Davies who was traveling eastbound on Cooper Street.

Keating was transported by COVAC ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital for a minor head laceration and left foot pain. Davies and a passenger were transported by COVAC ambulance to St. Lukes Hospital for minor injuries.  Keating was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Failure to Keep Right.
