New court house time capsule to be placed in cornerstone
On Monday, June 4, beginning at 10 a.m., Madison County will host a ceremony showcasing the items that will be placed in the new court house time capsule. Following the closing of the capsule, a limited number of press will be allowed to proceed“e being placed in the cornerstone.
The event will be live-streamed through Madison County’s Facebook page. Items for the time capsule were donated by Madison County local government, farming and local industry, civic organizations, school districts and colleges and will be on public display in the County Office Building in Wampsville from Tuesday, May 29, through Friday, June 1.
This event is open to the public.
