Hall Collects Academic All-League Honors
Sophomore honored for strong work in pool and classroom
Colgate men’s swimming and diving sophomore Colton Hall has been named to the Academic All-Patriot League team, the league announced Wednesday afternoon.
Hall owns a strong 3.50 cumulative grade point average through his first three semesters at Colgate. The sophomore turned out four top-ten finishes at the 2018 Patriot League Championship meet. He placed fifth in the 200-yard butterfly (1:48.33), sixth in the 200-yard freestyle (1:39.91), and 10th in both the 100-yard butterfly (49.25) and 500-yard freestyle (4:30.00). The Medfield, Mass. native’s 500 free time set a school record.
Hall becomes just the second-ever Colgate men’s swimming and diving student-athlete to earn Academic All-League honors. He joins Devon Healy who collected the laurels in 2011.
