Hancock announces new non-stop service to Orlando, Fla.

Syracuse Hancock International Airport announced that Allegiant has begun a new nonstop service from Syracuse Hancock International Airport to Orlando via Orlando Sanford International Airport.

“We’re thrilled to launch the only ultra-low-cost, nonstop service for Syracuse-area travelers to the theme park capital of the world,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of revenue and planning. “We’re proud to be the hometown airline for the Syracuse community and deliver another affordable, convenient warm getaway option.”

The new year-round route will operate twice weekly between Syracuse Hancock Airport and Orlando Sanford International Airport. With the addition of this new route, Allegiant now serves five cities from Hancock, including Nashville, Tenn., which will begin June 14.
