Jerry Dee & The Dovetones at the Utica Public Library
On Friday, July 13, at 6:30 p.m., the Utica Public Library will host Jerry Dee & The Dovetones as they present hits from the 1920s through ‘60s.
Aside from their original blues and jazz-based music, Jerry Dee & The Dovetones will play tunes from the ‘20s through ‘60s, including vintage “hot” jazz, Prohibition-era jazz, Great American songbook and swing standards from Irving Berlin to Cab Calloway, Fats Waller to Frank Sinatra; blues & rock-n-roll classics from Elvis Presley to Carl Perkins and classic ska hits from The Blues Busters, Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Refreshments will be served. The concert is free and open to the public.
