Yorkville man arrested on murder charges
On July 17, 2018, at approximately 3:50 a.m., the Yorkville Village Police Department responded to 10 Jones Place, Yorkville, for a report of a physical domestic incident involving two brothers.
When officers arrived, they located Daryl L. Ferguson, 42, in a bedroom of the residence with multiple stab wounds. Investigation reveals that Daryl and his brother John were involved in a physical altercation. Officer In Charge Pat Collea from the village of Yorkville Police Department requested that the New York State Police conduct the investigation.
John W. Ferguson, 37, of 10 Jones Place, Yorkville, was arrested and is charged with one count of second-degree murder, a class A-1 felony. He will be arraigned this afternoon at the Oneida County centralized arraignment.
