Four Herkimer College Softball Players Named NJCAA All-Americans

Herkimer College had four student-athletes from the 2018 softball team named NJCAA All-Americans. Kali Puppolo (Adams, Mass.) and Keeanna Wolcik (Baldwinsville) were named NJCAA 1st team All-Americans, and Shannon Moore (Norwich) and Jennah Hogan (East Greenwich) were named to the NJCAA second team.

“Placing four girls on the NJCAA All-American teams is indicative of the type of team that we had and the season we experienced,” Head Coach PJ Anadio said. “We had the most All-Americans of any team in the nation and these young ladies will be the first to admit that without their teammates pushing them every day in practices and workouts, they wouldn’t have achieved these goals.

“While these are individual awards, it’s truly a testament to the other young ladies in this program as well. I am extremely proud of these young ladies for their achievements and the athletes that they are, but more so for the character that they display and the way that they represent the college, the program and myself. Great players for sure, but even better human beings.”

With the addition of these four NJCAA All-Americans, a total of 30 NJCAA All-Americans have been named under Coach Anadio’s tutelage in nine seasons.
