Madison County Board of Elections announce September primary schedule

Madison County Election Commissioners Laura Costello and Kelley Hood urge Democratic, Women’s Equality and Reform voters in Madison County to cast their ballots for the upcoming Primaries to be held from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018.

The following is a list of the names of the candidates appearing on the ballots:

Democratic voters only:

  • Governor: Cynthia E. Nixon and Andrew M. Cuomo
  • Lieutenant Governor: Kathy C. Hochul and Jumaane Williams
  • Attorney General: Sean Patrick Maloney and Letitia A. James and Leecia R. Eve and Zephyr Teachout
  • Senator 53rd District: Rachel May and David J. Valesky
  • Assembly Member 121st District: Bill Magee and Dan Buttermann

Reform and non-enrolled voters only:

  • Attorney General: Nancy B. Sliwa and Mike Diederich and Christopher B. Garvey

Women’s Equality voters only:

  • Senator 53rd District: David J. Valesky

In addition, Republicans in the town of Lenox will be voting for highway superintendent. The winner of this election will be on the Republican line in November.

Town of Lenox Republican voters only:

Highway Superintendent, three-year vacancy: Richard Durant and Antonio Tornatore

Last day to register to be eligible to vote in the Nov. 6 General Election will be Oct. 12, 2018.
