BLOTTER: Oneida Police Department

Sept. 14, 2018

  • Sara E. Barbaritano, 27, of 106 E. Elm St., Oneida, was arrested on an arrest warrant charging her with criminal contempt in the second degree. She was arraigned in Oneida City Court.
  • Becky S. Holmes, 34, of 5179 Cole St., Munnsville, was arrested on a bench warrant alleging that she failed to appear on a charge of aggravated unlicensed operator in the second degree. She was arraigned in Oneida City Court and sentenced to 30 days in jail and a fine.
  • Davey C. Tippie, 41, of 226 Farrier Ave., Oneida was arrested on an arrest warrant charging him with sex abuse in the first degree. He was arraigned in Oneida City Court and remanded in lieu of bail. This investigation was a joint investigation between members of the Oneida Police Department investigation division and the Madison County Child Advocacy Center.

Sept. 15, 2018

  • Jeffrey N. Cox, 20, of 3009 Seneca Turnpike, Canastota, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operator in the second degree.

Sept. 17, 2018

  • Jodi A. Faber, 33, of 102 N. Main St., Oneida was charged with assault in the second degree. She was arraigned in Oneida City Court and released on her own recognizance.

Sept. 18, 2018

  • Ricardo Moreno, III, 26, of 104 N. Lake St., Oneida, was charged with operating without a seatbelt and operating with a suspended registration.
  • A 17-year-old Oneida youth was charged with menacing in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child.

Sept. 19, 2018

  • Richard F. Alexander, 57, of 219 Lenox Ave., Oneida, was charged with criminal trespass in the second degree. He was arraigned in Oneida City Court and released on his own recognizance.
  • William G. Coon, 35, of 522 Grand St., Oneida, was arrested on an arrest warrant charging him with a violation of probation. He was arraigned in Madison County Court and remanded without bail.
  • Nicole N. Laufer, 38, no permanent address, was arrested on a bench warrant alleging she failed to appear on an original charge of aggravated unlicensed operator in the third degree and a separate bench warrant alleging that she failed to appear on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. She was arraigned in Oneida City Court and released on her own recognizance.
  • Olivario B. Maes, 39, no permanent address, was arrested on a bench warrant alleging that he failed to appear on a charge of criminal trespass in the second degree. He was arraigned in Oneida City Court and remanded without bail.

Sept. 20, 2018

  • Robert A. Spinney, III, 18, of 2211 Sweetgrass Lane, Oneida, was charged with harassment in the second degree and criminal contempt in the second degree.
  • Jeanne M. Buffington, 48, of 193 Madison St., Oneida was arrested on an arrest warrant charging her with aggravated harassment in the second degree and intimidating a victim or witness in the third degree. She was arraigned in Oneida City Court and remanded in lieu of $1,000 cash or $2,500 bond.
