Brindisi meets with state Rural Electric Association representatives
Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi of Utica recently welcomed representatives of New York’s Rural Electric Cooperatives to his district office, where he presented them with signed copies of legislation he sponsored that recently was signed into law.
The legislation modernizes and simplifies 70-year-old regulations for the co-ops, allowing their members in rural areas of the state to continue to receive low-cost electricity.
