Pie sale planned for Nov. 17
The Thanksgiving Pie Sale to benefit the Old Town of Eaton Museum is set for Saturday, Nov. 17, of November. This yearly sale allows people to pick up pies for the Thanksgiving Holiday and features many different sizes, varieties as well as bake goods and treats.
The sale will be held at the Old Auction Barn on Route 26 in Eaton, next to the Post Office, and will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. This years pies include mincemeat, rhubarb, strawberry rhubarb, apple, peach, cherry, blackberry, blueberry and more.
The museum gift shop sale will have many items including cutting boards, tea shirts, museum cookbooks, museum recipe towels, wreaths, items for your cat, and more. As usual, there is the Christmas raffle basket sale, with chances for you to win beautiful Christmas items and gifts.
So come down and pick up a pie or a goody, a gift or a raffle chance and support the museum which this year put on Memorial Day festivities, the summer lecture series and Fall Festival History Weekend. Events like these cost money and this sale is the museums main source of support. All donations are tax deductible.
For more information you can visit our Facebook page at Old Town of Eaton Museum or email backstreetmary@yahoo.com. The Friends of the Old Town of Eaton Museum sponsor the day and there will be memberships available at the event.
