The Board of Trustees Silent Auction has begun! Stop in and bid on over 60 items today! Bidding ends on Friday December 7 at 8pm. Perfect gifts to give this holiday season! The silent auction is being held in the library’s program room.
Now until Saturday January 19 is our Giving Tree Fundraiser. Shop for the library this holiday season! We have several items the library needs! It’s EASY! Grab a Christmas tag off our giving tree of something you would like to donate to the library. Buy it, donate it, whatever it says and bring the tag and the item in as soon as you can! We would like all donations turned in by January 31, 2019.
Bring the little ones in for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour on Tuesday November 20 at 10am!! Help us have fun with “Let Us Give Thanks!” Stories, finger plays a craft and more! If you cannot make that day, join us on Tuesday November 27 for “Pop, Pop-POPCORN!”
Our Family Movie night will this Friday November 16 at 7:00pm! We are showing Incredibles 2! Popcorn is provided; bring your own beverage!
NERF Battle night will be this Saturday November 17 from 4:30pm-7:00pm. Sign-ups begin November 1 at the library and be sure to get a permission slip as well. No one enters without a slip and signing up. Open to 10 and up (adults too!) Only 16 spaces available!
CALLING ALL PARENTS! Want to get some things done for Thanksgiving without the kiddos “helping”?? We can help! On Wednesday November 21 we will be showing Christopher Robin at 10am! (Hey kids you get to hang out in the library when it’s CLOSED!), then LUNCH (bring your own) and the Utica Zoomobile at 1pm! Parents can fill out a permission slip when they bring their child (anytime between 9:30-10am with their child’s lunch) and come back at 2pm to get them! 4 glorious hours of being child-free! (Children 8 and up though! Kids under 8 must be with a parent!) Oh, and parents, you can just stay the whole time too (and bring your lunch) if you want to see the movie and the animals!!! JOIN US for a FUN-FILLED day!!!!
On Friday November 30 at 6:30pm we will be having a Wine and Paint Night! Open to adults and kids 13 and older! If you don’t drink wine we will have grape juice and of course, goodies for everyone too! Make it a mother/daughter night or a date night or some good friends just getting together to paint! Cost is $35 per person (payable the night of the program). Reservations are required! We MUST have 10 people to hold the class! We can have no more than 28 so space is limited! Sign up now at the circulation desk!
We will be closed from Thursday November 22 through Saturday November 24 to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday! We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm to 8pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm.
