UPDATE: Police seek public assistance with identifying suspects in surveillance photos

State Police have charged three people in connection with Sunday evenings armed robbery in the town of Salina.

State Police investigators, working with Onondaga County Sheriff’s Detectives, identified the three suspects involved in Sunday evenings armed robbery of the Gulf Gas Station, located at 2300 Court Street in the town of Salina. All three suspects are juveniles and are only being identified by their age as two 15-year-old males and an 11-year-old male, all from Syracuse.

The three juveniles working together are accused of robbing the Gulf Gas Station at gunpoint and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money. Three were last seen getting into a white colored Chevrolet Malibu vehicle, which was reported stolen and later discovered abandoned by the Syracuse Police Department on Culbert Street in the city of Syracuse.

All three juveniles are charged with Robbery 1st degree and Criminal Use of a Firearm 1stdegree, both felonies. The two 15-year olds were arraigned in Centralized Arraignment Court, with one receiving $50,000 cash/bond and the other receiving $20,000 cash/bond. The 11-year-old was arraigned in Onondaga County Family Court and was denied bail. All three were remanded to Hillbrook Juvenile Detention Center.

State Police in North Syracuse is investigating an Armed Robbery that occurred at The Gulf Gas Station located at 2300 Court Street in the town of Salina.

On Sunday, November 25, 2018, at approximately 9:15 p.m., two black males entered the store and demanded money from the cashier. One of the suspects was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and displayed a handgun. The other male was wearing a black jacket. Witnesses stated both male suspects left the store and were seen getting into a white 2014 Chevrolet Malibu and traveling towards Darlington Road east. Both suspects appeared to be in their teens.

The suspect vehicle, which was reported stolen, was later discovered abandoned by the Syracuse Police Department on Culbert Avenue in the city of Syracuse.

Additionally, the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a similar robbery that occurred at approximately 9:53 p.m., at Dunkin Donuts located inside the Express Mart at 2723 Brewerton Road in the town of Salina.
