Community Bank N.A. Canastota Branch spreads holiday cheer
The holidays are here and along with the bustle of the season comes the time of year to give back — shoppers donate spare change, offices host food drives and groups of family and friends come together to volunteer. Community Bank N.A. is once again joining the festive spirit this year by sponsoring or independently organizing charity drives for local community members and families.
Throughout the bank’s four-state footprint, more than 70 branches are celebrating the holidays by lending a hand to neighbors in need. From food baskets to purchasing a holiday celebration for a local family, each branch chose its activity based on the current needs of its community.
In Canastota, the branch is serving as a drop-off location for Toys of Tots. In addition the team, displayed Trees for Troops tress in its lobby during November to advertise the event.
“Going the extra mile for our community and neighbors is a fundamental part of our values,” Community Bank N.A. Branch Manager Lori Torrey said. “During the holidays, a little cheer or act of kindness can make a big difference to a family’s holiday season. I encourage all community members to get involved and help our neighbors in need.”
