Stirpe hosting food drive during holiday season
Assemblyman Al Stirpe (D-Cicero) announced he will once again be hosting a food drive in conjunction with the Food Bank of Central New York to collect canned goods and other nonperishable items to feed the hungry.
“The holiday season reminds us to be grateful for all we have and to reach out a helping hand to those around us who aren’t as fortunate,” Stirpe said. “There’s no greater joy than giving back to others in our community, and that’s what this food drive is all about.”
The campaign begins Dec. 3 and runs through Jan. 3.
