Baby & Me Lapsit and Storytime with Mrs. Liz begin again in February at the Canastota Public Library. Both programs run in the spring, summer and fall at the library. There is always a hiatus from the programs during the months of January and June.
Baby & Me Lapsit with Miss Angela will start again Wednesday, Feb. 13. This program is for babies from birth up to age 24 months and their caregivers. Miss Angela introduces your child to the wonderful world of books at the library during this Wednesday morning program. The program runs Wednesday mornings from 10 to about 10:30 a.m. In the session, Miss Angela helps the caregiver with sharing stories, songs and finger plays with the babies. Many caregivers and babies stay for a shared playtime following the program.
Storytime with Mrs. Liz will begin again Thursday, Feb. 14, in the children’s area of the library. Preschoolers will enjoy read-aloud stories, songs, crafts and a snack. The fun begins at 10 a.m. and runs for one hour.
Both programs will run until the last Wednesday and Thursday before Memorial Day in May. Everyone is welcome and reservations are not necessary.
