We are SO sorry, but due to lack of RSVP volunteers, the library will not be able to have our Tax Prep for Senior Citizens program this year; you can still get your taxes done in Morrisville; you just need to call Cornell Cooperative Extension at 315.684.3001 to make an appointment and meet there to do your taxes.
Did you know we are overdue fine free (since this past fall)? No more fines for bringing back materials late; just bring them back, and all is okay. All your old overdue fines are gone if you haven’t been in. Start fresh checking items out today. Our DVDs are now checked out for one week.
We also have a notary on staff and we sell Madison County Landfill punch cards and postage stamps, too. We are your one-stop shop.
Bring the little ones in for Kiddies Korner, our preschool story hour Tuesday, March 26, at 10 a.m. Help us have fun with “Jump, Frog, Jump!” Stories, finger plays a craft and more! If you cannot make that day, join us on Tuesday April 2 for “Alphabet Soup!”
On Friday, March 29, join us for Family Movie Night a 7 p.m. We are showing “Crimes of Grindelwald.” This movie is PG-13, so we will not allow anyone under the age of 13 to view the movie without a parent or guardian. We provide the popcorn, so bring the family and your own beverage.
Friday, April 5, we will be hosting an update on the Madison County Courthouse renovations at 6:30 p.m. This will be a special presentation by Madison County Historian Matthew Urtz on the ongoing Madison County Courthouse renovations. Urtz will speak about some of the unique architectural features, stories from the journal of builder H.B. Peckham and the upcoming grand reopening celebration May 25.
Saturday, April 6, is our spring book sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come out and stock up for the nicer weather ahead – great deals and lots of new books to look through. Sale will be held in the library’s program room.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday noon to 8 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
