This coming Palm Sunday, April 14, has been selected for a Community Celebration of the Passion in Canastota. The Canastota Area Association of Churches will host the nationally renowned Master’s Touch Chorale as the featured music in a special service to be held at the United Church on Center Street at 2:30 p.m.
The service will include contemporary Scripture readings about the Easter Story interspersed with the outstanding choral selections of the Master’s Touch. There is no admission charge, and a free will offering will be received in support of the three local food cupboards and soup kitchen supported locally by the churches of Canastota.
The public is enthusiastically welcomed to attend and invite friends for what is sure to be a memorable afternoon.
A free reception with refreshments will follow in the United Church Fellowship Hall.
