SUNY Canton recognizes students with the highest grades at the William J. Mein Honors Convocation.
Honors Convocation is held as a formal recognition of student achievement. It is named annually to honor a retired faculty member who has made significant contributions to the college.
An award is bestowed to each student with the highest GPA for their academic year in each of the college’s programs.
Students recognized include:
- Elizabeth LaSalle of Canastota, NY(13032). LaSalle is a Sophomore in the Dental Hygiene program who is scheduled to graduate in 2019.
- Ethan H. White of Oneida, NY(13421). White is a Freshman in the Engineering Science 2+2 program who is scheduled to graduate in 2020.
- Alison R. Bensley of Sherburne, NY(13460). Bensley is a Senior in the Emergency Management program who is scheduled to graduate in 2019.
