Canastota woman arrested for drunken-driving
According to police, motorist’s blood alcohol content twice the legal limit
On May 18, 2019, at approximately 8:36 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in the town of Brutus for a vehicle and traffic violation.
The driver, Melissa E. Cady, 26, of Canastota, was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Junius Ponds, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .18 percent.
Cady was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while Intoxicated and vehicle and traffic violations. She was released to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable in Brutus Town Court at 7 p.m. June 4, 2019.
West Seneca man arrested for DWI with BAC three times the legal limit
On May 18, 2019, at approximately 2:52 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-190 in the city of Buffalo for a vehicle and traffic violation. The driver, Gregory J. Gilbert, 25, of West Seneca, was found to be intoxicated. Gilbert was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo, where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.24 percent.
Gilbert was subsequently charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, and vehicle and traffic violations. He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable in Buffalo City Court at 9:30 a.m. May 29, 2019.
