State police seek public assistance with identifying an individual in surveillance photo
State police in Watertown is investigating a larceny that occurred at the Wal-Mart store on State Route 3 in the town of Watertown.
On June 26, 2019, an unidentified male was captured on store surveillance video not paying for $76 worth of merchandise in the self-checkout register and leaving the store with a juvenile.
If anyone can identify the individual in the store security photo above, they are asked to contact State police at 315.366.6000. All information will be kept confidential. Refer to case# 8996904.

Columbus man charged with DWI after Salina stop
On June 29, 2019, at approximately 9:55 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-90 in Salina for a vehicle-and-traffic violation. Police say the driver of the vehicle, Anthony E. Hubert, 45, of Columbus, was found to be intoxicated; he was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Syracuse where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.20 percent.
Hubert was subsequently
charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated; an unclassified misdemeanor
and vehicle-and-traffic violations, including drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle
on a highway.
Hubert was released to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable in
Salina Town Court July 24, 2019, at 5 p.m.
