The BOCES Rome ACCESS Site will offer TASC workshops through August and beyond to prepare those interested in earning their high school equivalency diploma; study packets will also be available at no cost to the student.
“The workshops are perfect for those who are either employed or unavailable to attend on-site classes,” said Rita Kenyon, coordinator at the Rome ACCESS Site.
The following times and dates are available prior to the next TASC exam:
- Tuesday, July 30, 9 a.m. to noon: Writing Workshop
- Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1 to 3 p.m.: Math Workshop
- Saturday, Aug. 10, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Math/Writing Workshop
- Tuesday, Aug. 13, 9 a.m. to noon: Writing Workshop
- Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1 to 3 p.m.: Math Workshop
The next TASC exam will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug 27 and 28. Pre-registration is required.
