‘Harriet Tubman: Relaxing in Peterboro’
Kate Clifford Larson, Ph.D., will present “Harriet Tubman: Relaxing in Peterboro” at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019. The event is part of the 10th annual Peterboro Emancipation Days to be held at the Gerrit Smith Estate National Historic Landmark, 5304 Oxbow Road, Peterboro.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.; donations for admission.

- 10 a.m.: Assembly, photo and processional to cemetery to lay wreaths
- 1:15 p.m.: Harriet Powell: Escapee from Slavery on Underground Railroad
- 2:15 p.m.: Harriet Russell: From Enslaved to Freedom in Peterboro
- 3:15 p.m.: Harriet Tubman: Relaxing in Peterboro
