About the Utica Zombie Walk
The Utica Zombie Walk was an annual grassroots event which was held between 2009 and 2015 at various locations around the Utica area. At its peak, the zombie walk had over 1,000 participants. It raised monetary and non-perishable food donations for several local non-profits such as the Stevens-Swan Humane Society and the Food Bank of CNY. The Utica Zombie Walk’s mission is to provide a safe and fun setting for artistic expression, and to be inclusive of all ages and walks of life. The event relies heavily on the kindness and dedication of a volunteer staff, along with the help of the city of Utica, local media, and local venue owners.
Thank you so much for covering the upcoming zombie walk. We hope to see many Madison County zombies among our ranks!
