Brindisi to present special Department of Defense pin for Vietnam veterans
Congressman Anthony Brindisi (NY-22) will hold a pinning ceremony for area Vietnam Era Veterans at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019.
If a Veteran served on active duty in the United States Armed Forces at any time from Nov. 1, 1955, to May 15, 1975, either overseas or stateside, they can be honored with a special Department of Defense pin.
Veterans should call 315.732.0713 to RSVP with their full name, where they are from and their branch of service.
The event will be held at the Madison County War Veterans Memorial, 138 N. Court St., Wampsville.
