On Aug. 28, state police were contacted by the individual who had lost the money near the Stewart’s Shop in the village of Poland. After verifying the amount and denominations, the cash was returned to the individual.

On July 5, 2019, an undisclosed amount of cash was located on the sidewalk
in front of the Stewart’s Shop located on Cold Brook Street in Poland. The
money was turned over to state police.
Anyone missing money or knowing of someone missing money is asked to call state police Troop D Headquarters at 315.366.6000.
Appropriate descriptive details will need to be provided to recover the
cash.
