Members of the Canastota Bone Builders group celebrated the program’s ninth anniversary at that site Sept. 10 with a rock and paint party.
The group, which meets 10 a.m. Tuesdays at the Canastota Public Library, is led by RSVP volunteers. It is one of nine Bone Builders programs led by RSVP volunteers and offered free to those 55 and older throughout Madison County.
The Bone Builders program is designed to help strengthen bones, prevent osteoporosis and to help with balance. It is held at nine sites throughout Madison County and is free for those 55 and older; the group is one of nine throughout Madison County and recently celebrated its ninth anniversary.
