Have you heard? The Peterson Farm Brothers are coming to Stockbridge Valley at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019.
The brothers will be presenting “I’m Farming and I Grow It,” an AgVocating success story. They will explain how they got started making the videos, where the videos have taken them and even perform some of their music parodies.
For those of you who don’t know the Peterson Farm Brothers, they are three brothers from central Kansas who create social media content to promote agriculture. Their YouTube videos have more than 50 million views and they have a large online following. The brothers grew up and still work on a family farm near Assaria, Kan., with their parents and sister.
The Stockbridge Valley FFA alumni hold two fundraisers each year; The Peterson Farm Brothers will be held in place of our fall auction. Our other fundraiser is known as the Quarter Auction and is held the Saturday before Valentine’s Day. All funds raised are used to help the FFA members of Stockbridge Valley attend New York State FFA Convention, National FFA Convention, Washington Leadership Conference and a scholarship to a graduating senior to further their education in an agriculture-related field.
Tickets for the Peterson Farm Brothers event are on sale and can be purchased through the link posted on the Stockbridge Valley FFA Alumni Facebook page, the Stockbridge Valley School website (stockbridgevalley.org) or at the door the night of the event.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door; all tickets come with a meet-and-greet after the show.
