Oct. 30, 2019, 5:30 to 7 p.m.: Bats and How Climate Change Effects Bats
Lecture by state Department of Environmental Conservation Educator Betsy Ukeritis about the bats of New York and how climate change is affecting their lives; $2 per person.
Nov. 8, 7 p.m.: Adult Paint and Munch
Learn how to paint a nature painting step-by-step while eating delicious appetizers and snacks. $30 per adult, register and prepay by Nov. 6.
Nov. 9, 6 p.m.: Harvest Dinner
Enjoy a delicious meal and a special guest speaker Associate Professor Jason Luscier of LeMoyne College, who will lecture on urban wildlife issues, effects of noise pollution on bats, effects of light pollution on frogs, variable distribution of squirrels and disease in urban deer.
Reservations for the Harvest Dinner are required by Oct. 30; $20/person.
Nov. 10, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Happy Green and Plastic-Free Holiday
Celebrate the season with less plastic. This event will feature vendors with plastic-free merchandise presenting how to do this. Join us in plastic-free gifting. Local and plastic-free is the way to shop and make a difference. This event will also feature kids rock-painting. Free.
Nov. 11 from noon to 2 p.m.: Kids Paint-and-Juice
Artist Brianne Wilcox will teach step-by-step how to paint a nature painting; all materials and snacks will be provided. $15 per child; register and prepay by Nov 8.
