Do you have an avid appreciation of animals and an open heart? Are you in need of some relaxation time? Tammy Seagriff will offer a four-part workshop at the Canastota Public Library in January and February that might be of help.
“Animals, Connection and Community” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays Jan. 21 and 28 and Feb. 4 and 11, 2019.
With animals as the central and binding theme, the workshops will help us to navigate through a series of experiential exercises including guided relaxation and visualization, deep breathing, body awareness, self-reflection and group sharing. There is no previous experience necessary to take part in this workshop.
Seagriff, a certified yoga instructor, also teaches mindfulness and relaxation methods. She is interested in exploring the individual’s connection to others and to animals.
Registration is required as space is limited. Participants should sign up in advance by calling the library at 315.697.7030 or stopping by our circulation desk to register.
The Canastota Public Library is located at 102 W. Center St., Canastota.
