Bear is a very happy senior guy who loves to cuddle and romp around outside in the yard. He loves to go for walks and play, but he is really mellow and enjoys those days where you lounge around and lay in bed. He gets along well with other dogs, but a proper meet-and-greet is always required. He has also lived with children and is very good around them. He would have to be cat-tested for potential adopters if you have a kitty. A rural/country-style home with lots of space and yard would be ideal for him. Come on down to the shelter, and spend some time with him, you will fall in love.
Gracie is a pretty 2-year-old female kitty. Some of the staff call her Gracie Jane or Gracie May. She’s been at the shelter for a while now, and she’s trying to find her perfect family. She’s still playful at times. She loves laser lights and some toy mice and even a little cat nip here and there. She would be best in a quiet home with adults and possibly no other pets or a quieter kitty like her; no dogs. She’s really an easy cat when she’s not playing. She likes a good cat bed to sleep in or sometimes she even likes to sleep on top of the warm dryer. She does like to stay on all four feet, meaning if you do pet her, she prefers not to be picked up. If you would love a companion in the house, come down to the shelter and visit with her and give her a chance to be part of your home.
