Oneida Mayor Helen Acker and the Freelance Co-op are partnering to create a promotional video all about Oneida for Submission to HGTV’s Hometown Takeover.
HGTV is producing a new show that will showcase one community and their downtown and a few houses. They are looking for a community less than 40,000 people, have historic architectural buildings and are in need of a facelift. Oneida certainly fits those needs
Here’s what we need from you.
Gather at City Hall at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, to help us gather as many members of the Oneida Community as possible in front of City Hall for the closing shot of the video.
Encourage friends, family and colleagues to join you.
Get featured in the promotional video and tell us why you love Oneida. We’d like to interview as many business and community leaders on-camera as possible. If you’d like you business or organization to be featured, book a 20-minute interview slot this Tuesday, Feb. 4; your clip won’t be 20-minutes long; interviews will be boiled down to 10- to 20-second sound bites from a variety of business and community leaders.
Click HERE to schedule your slot.
Interviews will be held at the Freelance Co-op, 132 N. Main St., Oneida.
