Feb. 14, 2020, is the last day for voters to change their party affiliation to vote in the April 28 presidential primary.

Following are other important voting deadlines to keep in mind:

April 28, 2020 – Presidential primary

  • The early voting period for the April 28 presidential primary is from April 18 through 26, 2020.
  • The deadline to register to vote in the presidential primary is April 3 in person or postmarked by April 3 and received by the Board of Elections by April 8.
  • The deadline to file a change of address is April 8.
  • Feb. 14, 2020, is the last day for voters to change their party affiliation to vote in the April 28 presidential primary.

June 23, 2020 – State and federal primary elections

  • The early voting period for state and federal June 23 primary will be June 13 through 21, 2020.
    The deadline to register to vote in the state and federal primaries is May 29 in person or postmarked by May 29 and received by the Board of Elections June 3.
  • The deadline to file a change of address is June 3.
  • Feb. 14, 2020, is the last day for voters to change their party affiliation to vote in the June 23 state and federal primaries.

Nov. 3, 2020 – General election day.

  • The early voting period for the November general election is Oct. 24 through Nov. 1, 2020.
  • The deadline to register to vote in the general election is Oct. 10 in person (if honorably discharged from the U.S. Military or have become a naturalized U.S. Citizen after Oct. 10, 2020, you may register in person at the Board of Elections up to Oct. 24, 2020) or postmarked by Oct. 9 and received by the Board of Elections no later than Oct. 14.
  • The deadline to file a change of address is Oct. 14.
