The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that State Route 173 will be closed between Palmer Road and Old Cheese Factory Road in the Town of Sullivan, Madison County for a culvert replacement. The road closure is expected to begin on Monday, September 15, and last for approximately six weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists should follow a posted detour utilizing Palmer Road, Salt Springs Road, State Route 5, and State Route 173.
