(Jan. 4, 2013) Parents/Caregivers now have a new option when searching for child care for their child. The Child Care Council of Cornell Cooperative Extension is proud to announce that they now offer a new service that permits parents to generate their own list of child care programs, from the comfort of their home at any time.

Parents can access the database through the Council’s website at www.mycccc.org and clicking on “Do Your Own Search”. By entering information about their child care needs, they can print a list of up to ten programs and the educational materials that accompany each child care referral. In addition, parents can still get referrals from a live Referral Specialist, by phone or by email. Specialists are happy to share information to educate and assist parents as they seek quality child care for their child.

The Child Care Council maintains a database that contains detailed information about all registered and licensed child care programs, throughout Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties.  This includes center-based programs and in-home family and group family child care programs.

For more information or assistance, feel free to contact the Child Care Council at 223-7850, extension 222.
