Local Clarkson University Students Complete Football Season

The following local students participated on the Clarkson University club football team:

Jeff Merrell of Canastota a sophomore defensive back, majoring in civil engineering.

Ryan Merrell of Canastota, a senior linebacker, majoring in environmental engineering.

Gavin Campbell of Canastota a freshmen outside linebacker, majoring in electrical engineering.

Michael Blanchard of Cazenovia, a senior wide receiver, majoring in chemical engineering.

Darian Smith of Cazenovia, a freshmen wide receiver, majoring in mechanical engineering.

The Clarkson University Golden Knights football club finished the 2012 season with a 4-3 record. The team was founded two years ago, and has since grown to over 50 members. The club finished its 2010 season with a 1win-5 loss record, and then improved to 3-3 in 2011.
