(Oneida, NY – Jan. 2013) Elementary-school students can charge up the new year at Oneida Public Library when the After-school Science program offers a crash course in electrical currents called Circuit Circus Tuesday Jan. 15 at 4 p.m.

Youth Librarian Michele Ryan will provide the makings of a snap circuit project, and the students will get the chance to create their own electrical circuits that will charge a sound device. Whether the intended sound is a doorbell, siren or just a wacky noise, the project’s point is to reveal the wonders of electricity.

The program is free and open to all elementary-school students. Materials will be provided at no charge.

For more information, stop by the library, 220 Broad St., or call 363-3050.
